Asking questions and telling stories that inspire good work and positive change
Working together to make things better.
My work is grounded in asking questions and sharing thoughtful stories that make a difference. I care about the words that may not be articulated, the conversations that haven’t yet taken place, and the sincere aspirations that are worthy of belief. I love to work with groups, organizations, agencies, communities and people to design creative convening, meetings and conversations.
“Wherever there is conversation, there is hope.”
I help people, organizations, and communities create the spaces for quality, intentional and productive conversations. The barrier to forging these bonds isn’t usually awareness, but, usually, capacity and time. I work with boards, teams, and groups by adding an extra set of hands and a little extra bandwidth. If a team is brave enough to talk through a challenging issue, I want to support them.

Who I Work With
❋
Who I Work With ❋
I’m looking for people who don’t have the answers but want to try something new; I’m looking for projects that help people and places move past barriers, both invisible and real.
My ideal collaborator is someone who doesn’t have it all figured out. They’re willing to experiment with different approaches and take action accordingly. They’re courageous, sometimes in the face of overwhelming uncertainty. They consider hidden issues and have tough conversations. They act with authenticity, honesty, and integrity.
I’m particularly excited about working on projects in areas that could benefit from brainstorming and trying new approaches. I can recommend and pull from experiences across sectors and communities to design experiments, evaluate the results, and propose potential next steps.
Sometimes I’m a consultant.
Sometimes I’m a journalist.
Sometimes I’m a coach or facilitator.
❋
At all times, I find myself offering the perspective of an objective outsider, an out-of-town eye. I care about building trust and relationships through meaningful experiences. I can add capacity to projects and initiatives that need a nudge to get moving or to reach the finish line. I’ll pay attention to the process and help with the work: you own the product and the outcome.
